DYS F4 FC V2 Omnibus Flight Controller with OSD and PDB

DYS took it to the next level with their F4 flight controller. It combines a PDB, current sensor, OSD and FC on a single board - and it comes soft mounted out of the box! The board features large and easy to use solder pads for the power leads. And the 3oz copper PDB ensures stable current flow even for high power applications, up to 150 A!

Thanks to the power of the F4 processor, this flight controller is able to run comfortably at 8KHz, while leaving plenty of processing power for all the other cool features this board has. The fully customizable OSD gives you important details on your power consumption, flight time, voltage and more, right through the video feed in your goggles. It also allows you to change settings on your quad, like PID’s and rates.

The DYS F4 flight controller also supports cool features like VTx Telemetry/SmartAudio, so you can change your FPV settings right from the OSD, using just the transmitter sticks!

great but be careful

I ordered 2 of these and now only 1 works. I'm using with the dys 4 in one ESC, which uses the pins for a solder free connection. While testing I misaligned the pins and fried the board. Otherwise pretty damn good, running 8kh pid and gyro loops @4% cpu load

Great features but some design issues.

First, I'll say that I love this board. It has some really great features that make for a super clean build. The built in OSD, BEC, PDB, current sensor, all work flawlessly and make for easy setup. That being said, I would not buy this board again. The problem is the motor signal pads; they are extremely fragile. In about a decade of building electronics I have never had a problem with damaging components, from normal through hole to hand soldering surface mount chips, but the first pad I took the iron to popped off like it was made of paper. Also, there's no support for the wire, so if it catches on anything, or gets tugged on at all, it's pulling the pad right off. Thank goodness for betaflight's resource reallocation, or my board would have been toast. Of course, all of this is moot if you're using DYS's 4 in 1 ESC, because you don't need the pads then, but if you're not, I don't see this board making it through too many crashes.
