Thunder Power Adrenaline 2600mah 2s

It's Taranis X9D upgrade time! The stock battery that comes with your Taranis X9D serves it's purpose. It'll get you flying with minimal setup time. But if you take FPV seriously, you'll soon find that the stock Taranis battery won't last you very long on a single charge!

Thunder Power has you covered! They've made this nifty LiPo battery pack just for the Taranis. It's a drop in upgrade - just pop the battery cover off, remove the stock battery and plug in the replacement! There's only one drawback - you can't use the charger that came with the Taranis to charge a LiPo, since it has a different chemistry. You'll have to take the battery out of the transmitter and charge it like you would charge your flight packs. This drawback is offset by the fact that you don't have to charge nearly as often with the improved battery!

NOTE: Don't use the stock FrSky charger. Use a proper LiPo charger instead. Remember to set up your Taranis battery alarm to the correct voltage!

Little bit too large

I love ThunderPower RC and fly mainly their packs, but I have to say I'm just a concerned about this pack. Overall it's a great battery with quality construction as is the usual for ThunderPower. The problem I have is the tight fit in the battery compartment in my Taranis puts a lot of strain on the balance connector and also the power input on the radio itself which is pushed in at an angle when the battery is installed. It works just fine, but I'm concerned about future wear and tear when removing the battery for charging.

lasts forever

Excellent battery- of very high quality construction, interestingly uses 4 cells to create a double-life 8.4V power cell!! At first I thought it was a 4S battery - but they did it right - specifically made for the Taranis X9D (plus) for sure... I had no problems fitting it into the compartment, you just have to finagle the wires and tilt the battery when you put it in (maybe use a little astroglide), but it fits perfect - the maximum amount of battery that will go in there that's for sure! I fly many sorties and my radio voltage just doesn't drop! Love it-
