HellGate FPV Buzzer
The HellGate FPV Buzzer is a fully automatic acoustic alarm for your miniquad or any other kind of aircraft that could suffer from battery ejection after a crash. With the HellGate Buzzer you don’t have to be afraid anymore. After the main battery is accidentally disconnected, it will activate the alarm state and after one minute, if the battery is not reconnected it will start beeping. The acoustic alarm will last for more than 3 days. I can also switch itself automatically into “eco” mode (after 3 days of active alarm) and continue to beep every 30 seconds for more than 2 weeks.
There is no complicated installation or maintenance process involved. Simply connect it to a 5V power input, a Ground pin, and a FC buzzer Ground if you would like to use it as a regular buzzer on your aircraft, since it supports a buzzer passthrough.
To deactivate the buzzer (when you don’t want to fly immediately after disconnecting the empty battery or for transport) you simply connect the battery for a a short amount of time and disconnect it right after. (just touch the plugs for 0.5s to 2s and it will disarm) The buzzer will respond with an appropriate deactivation tone.

Super loud compared to my other buzzer.
It's conservatively programmed to start beeping, in fact, and I really would prefer to see a dedicated "silence" button.
I was super frustrated the first few hours, as managed to trigger the buzzer's "anti-cycle protection function" and had not found the manual. READ THE MANUAL:
If your buzzer is stuck beeping, try plugging in the battery for 10 seconds, then unplug, then plug in again for 1-2 sec. You'll hear a chime when it disarms. Thank god. I was about to throw the thing in a river.
This buzzer is awesome! I just wish it was a bit louder... if you can afford the extra $30 and you fly in ‘risky spots’ this would be super useful
I got my fpv buzzer rather quickly. It was my first time ordering from this site, so i got a bit scared and sent an email asking about my order. i got a response in about 24 hrs assuring me that it is being handled. I finally got it and connected to my my flight controller and unfortunately i connected my flight controller bad which caused the buzzer to smoke. Then when i rectified the problem on the flight controller and i reconnected the buzzer it would start buzzing constantly and would't stop.
I was very disappointed with myself. I never made a mistake like that before and now i damaged my buzzer so i would have to reorder another one. To be honest, the buzzer is quite expensive for a small device but it was my fault, i broke it. So ordering another one right now is out of the question.
So although i broke it i can testify that the buzzer is loud and if you lost your quad you would be able to find it.
It happened this year, I lost my first kwad. I resolved that my first would be my last, so I started looking into preventing it from ever happening again. That's when I found this little gem. Its loud, its unstoppable, you have to disarm it! I have no doubt that if I had had one of these in my dearly departed kwad, I'd still have it in my possession. I know that $30 is a bit pricey, but trust me, its an insurance policy. Both of my long range rigs have these installed, and I'll be putting one in all my best kwads from now on. Get some insurance for your kwad, suck it up, and pony up for this beeper. You won't regret it.
A $30 buzzer that can potentially save your expensive quad from getting lost forever. Worth it!
This is an amazing product. I lost my first quad this summer, and if I had had one of these, it wouldn't have happened. You actually have to turn this thing off by plugging the battery back in for a moment, so there is no stopping it. Its loud, to the point of obnoxious, which is exactly what you want. At $30 bucks its a bit pricey, but its cheap compared to a lost quad. Do yourself a favor, buy $30 worth of insurance, you won't regret it.
This thing works. Its a self contained buzzer system that even when your batt is ripped from your drone it will continue to beep for days Im told but at least for a couple hours until you find it. I lost my drone up on a hill in head high grass and if it weren't for the this buzzer I would have spent hours looking for it. Instead I just walked to where it was last and listened and found it in just a few min.. Worth 29 bucks hands down.
