HQ Prop 5x4x3 V1S PC Propeller Pair
HQ Durable Prop DP 5x4x3 V1S PC Propeller
Scraggle proof propellers! These durable Poly Carbonate (PC) props can take a hell of a beating and keep on going like nothing happened! They are a tiny bit heavier than their glass nylon counterparts, but due to the improved V1S airfoil the losses in performance are minimal. And the stiff material lets you fly more and spend less time changing props!
Did you know? Available in many variations, the V1S airfoil is arguably the most popular airfoil on miniquad propellers. It was designed by world renowned FPV pilot Chad Nowak in cooperation with HQ Prop.

Makes the quad feel very snappish. Very durable prop.
These are perfect for some just starting out in the quadcopter scene. I can't honestly say how many of the glass fibre props I went through, at least a hundred. Then I try these, the polycarbonate ones and I've only had a few crashed with them and I'm flying in a closed in commercial building that has racking and machines everywhere that is steel and concrete. The only thing that has happened is the blades are a little scuffed. I didn't even bend them out of shape. I have found that you have to be a little more aggressive with them when in a hard turn, then the glass fibre ones. Definitely, a perfect starter blade. I wish these were out when I started flying.
Ahhhhh I tell you what. The HQ glass fiber still feel the most crisp and responsive compared to the Poly Carbonate, you cannot deny it. When you really rip out it does feel a little "springy" for a fraction of time, as well as when youre coming out of a power loop quickly or whipping around a tree. I guess I could say a bit like rubberbanding. HOWEVER, the fact I could smash into things three times including not only scraggle but full on tree, ground and rocks and only scuff the blades was enough for me to be ecstatic. It was like I had to change HQ glass fiber everytime I didnt land perfectly. My ratchet and thumb skin are grateful for these. I highly recommend starting with these and flying 40 hours before trying anything else.
These props have performed as expected and have definitely taken a fair share of abuse. So pleased with their performance that I had to buy a few more.
Not as much punch out as I thought but very durable cuts through scraggle and keeps on going.
Amazing Durability, trees, ground, buildings, very very tough, maybe a tiny loss of snap/ larger draw but endlessly worth it for a new Pilot, These are what you need for a daily driver or when your out in the park and want min maintenance.
I've just moved from the HQ glass fiber props to these. I was expecting them to be more of a compromise for the enhanced durability, but they perform marvelously! As a matter of fact, I think I might even prefer them over the original HQ 5x4x3 props that I was using.
