Description

Hypetrain Freestyle 2306 2450KV Motor (V1)

A new version is available!

The Hypetrain Freestyle Motor is the first official product designed by Rotor Riot! Ride the Hype Train with the Hypetrain!

Designed from the ground up with constant input from our best pilots, the attention to detail of the Hypetrain Freestyle motor sets it apart from the competition. Inspired by the iconic Rotor Riot logo, the Hypetrain’s three-spoke 7075 aluminum bell showcases the elegant silver coated wire wound over the orange stator.

We love stylish design - but performance is the priority. That’s why we thoroughly considered every aesthetic decision, to ensure that it would not negatively impact the performance of the motor. And just to be extra sure, every motor gets individually tested before it leaves the factory! This guarantees that each motor will not only look nice, but also perform well!

As far as performance, the Hypetrain Freestyle is built around a 2306 stator, with single strand windings that give it a KV rating of about 2450 RPM per Volt. In other words, plenty of power and good efficiency! To ensure reliability, we opted to use high quality silicone wires for the motor leads.

The “open bottom” style base allows for considerable weight reduction and improved cooling, and the revolutionary 16x16 mm mounting screw pattern opens up new design possibilities while still maintaining backwards compatibility with legacy frames. Moreover, we wanted it to have a set screw to hold the bell rather than a C-clip, to facilitate motor cleaning and maintenance!

    Hypetrain

I love these motors. I am new to the hobby and I picked these up to check out all the hype. I had a crash and it caused 1 motor to act up. After close inspection I was able to see the (what I think would be called a bell housing) popped up off the coils I was able to use needle nose to pop back in to place and it started working again. So not a wasted flying session. The only complaint I have is not having counter clockwise and clockwise threads for the nuts. Get stuck in a tree or Bush and it can unthread just enough to cause the prop to not be tight any more

    Great motors

Best motors I've ever flown. Seem like we'll built durable motors. Smooth bearings, no vibrations or occilations that I've noticed. Preform very well and don't kill my lipos.

Fantastic quality, and the look....yeah Jus amazing and beautiful motors, we’ll build.
    Excellent performance.

Just remember, if you want change bearing, heat up the screw under gently with solder iron, because off the heavy duty tread locked. And then again the shaft, to pull the bell off.

Then use example old bearing same size over the new one and under with a same size shaft throughout the “4 bearings and gently press fitt. I use a arbor press.

    Super Smooth

I have only flown about 5 packs on my new set of Hypetrain motors, but I am very impressed so far. The throttle precision that I get with these motors is simply phenomenal. Low-end torque is great when punching through and out of tight spots and bouncing out of dives. Overall provides a floaty feel. There are certainly more efficient motors out there, but the benefits outweigh that cost in my opinion.

    Hypetrain Motors

I recently bought four hyptrain motors and loved them immediately they were fast and smooth and efficient. The problem I had was within two weeks two out of the four motors had the magnet rings slipping down so much so that it actually had cut into the wires. I wanted to really like these motors and I hate giving bad reviews but the quality control needs to get taken care of.
